چکیده
Abstract Cardiac injury is a common complication of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), and associated with adverse clinical outcomes. In this study, we aimed to reveal association cardiac coagulation dysfunction. We enrolled 181 consecutive patients who were hospitalized COVID-19, studied characteristics outcome these patients. biomarkers high-sensitivity troponin I (hs-cTnI), myohemoglobin creatine kinase-myocardial band (CK-MB) assessed in all The outcomes defined as hospital discharge or death. median age study cohort was 55 (IQR, 46–65) years, 102 (56.4%) males. Forty-two (23.2%) had injury. Old age, high leukocyte count, levels aspartate transaminase (AST), D-dimer serum ferritin significantly Multivariate regression analysis revealed old elevated being strong risk predictors in-hospital mortality. Interleukin 6 (IL6) comparable without Serial observations parameters demonstrated highly synchronous alterations along progression COVID-19 an independent factor for AST, are injury, whereas IL6 not. Therefore, pathogenesis may be primarily due dysfunction microvascular
